I am sharing a part of my favorite trip(my first international trip) *dancingwithjoy* to Manchester which felt like Home away from home since I was there for 2 weeks, I wanted to try something I did not have so far and it was my birthday week in Manchester so another reason to try something new so I thought I should share this with you guys so you can cherish these meals whenever you go to Manchester.
These are my favorite 10 restaurants you can rely on if you are a vegetarian and want to eat some amazing dishes.
- The Co-operative
You will find a Co-op easily and their 3 pound meals are amazing you get to choose one sandwich or Vegan meal , one drink and one dessert all in just 3 pounds and trust me it was pocket saving as well as tasty. This Brownie with dark chocolate is out of this world.
I can never forget the taste of the Pizza I ate at Gusto, there is one at Piccadilly, Knutsford or Altrincham. You just can’t miss having a meal here. The amout of Cheddar cheese they put on Pasta and Pizza they stole my heart because Cheese is Bae.
3. Pizza Hut
I know we have been having Pizza at Pizza Hut all our life but at Piccadilly while I was shopping I got tired and ended up going there, the thin crust pizza was so amazing I hope someday we can have a pizza like that in India at Pizza Hut.
4. Ziya’s Kitchen
If you are craving for some Indian, Mughlai or Lebanese food straight away go to Curry Mile. It is named Curry mile because you have all possible Indian restaurants within a mile. For a moment I felt I am in India, I had Dal Fry and Jeera Rice (I was terribly homesick that day) even dal rice was so comforting and Ziya has mouth watering Indian food don”t forget Papadam.
Explore a secret garden with delicious food, drinks and live music. The way they serve is so cute I tried the Lentil sweet potato pie, Falafel for starters and the most important dessert was Brownie Kebab which is a hero,
For my Birthday Dinner I went to Wagamama at Trafford Centre(shop till you drop) I was so stuffed with eating so much of cake that I just ended up having Dumplings and Lemon Tart. You should try the Lemon rasberry tart if you love different flavours it was crispy sweet tangy all at the same time and keep refilling that green tea.
My first attempt of trying to hold the chopsticks that day 🙂
Classic Italian restaurant,go to the terrace it is so beautiful, I ordered Gnocchi I tried so hard to finish order just one dish the quantity is good enough for 2 people and if you are going with friends or family this place is really amazing.
8. Cross Keys
For some live music and fun friday night do visit this Pub in Knutsford if you are around,my friends in Manchester insisted that I should go to a Pub while I am in Manchester and it was indeed amazing to listen to live Country songs with some fries because Fries before Guys right. 😉
9. Seven Sisters Farm
Ice Cream is mandatory, to have ice creams which out of this world which you will eat happily even at 4 degree this is the farm you should go to and have milk shakes and Cake batter flavoured ice cream with a beautiful play area for kids you will have your own family time.
They have a variety of Pies to choose from and if you love pies this is one place in Manchester you should go to.
Stay Tuned for More Travel and food. 🙂
